There are a ridiculous amount of songs in the world, but there are some that no matter what I ended up having on every ipod, zune, or phone that I’ve owned. I could lose my entire collection of music, but these are songs that for whatever reason pop into my brain all the time, and I must tell you that they are completely random. I’ll just put a few of them out there. Superstarr Pt. 0 by k-os, first heard this on a youtube bboy battle video and that was all I needed. Love EVERY piece of this song whether I’m listening in the car or I want to dance. I Miss You – Blink 182, went with my Mom to see one of her friends when I was a kid, and her daughter had the pay per view Blink 182 concert on tv. I walked in right when this song was playing and was hooked. Never heard it again until the music video was on tv one day, and then I promptly went out and bought their album. Grindin’ by Clipse, the music video was playing on 106 and Park, and was in the number three spot. The beat on this track is something that I always end up nodding my head to. Like Glue – Sean Paul, not sure how or why this song makes it onto every phone I have ever owned but it does. You can’t help but get a little sway going while hearing this song. Last one is Your Hand In Mine by Explosions in the Sky, this song always puts my mind at ease. I love hearing it on a clear day and just sitting outside, it brings a little bit of calmness to this crazy world. Those are just a few of mine, and I’m sure everyone has some amount of songs that just become part of your life for a long time. These are some of the best songs because they have stood the test of time for each of us, and aren’t forgotten just because the next new song comes out. My list is much bigger than these few, and I hope everyone gets to have some favorites that follow them around like mine.
